In Malasaña, the most pop and alternative neighborhood of our capital, we can come across apartments like this one, completely renovated under a contemporary architecture project, very consistent with the style that the neighborhood has adopted in recent years.
This apartment is located in a completely refurbished building of the traditional ‘Calle de La Madera’, in which all of its apartments have been renovated under a shocking interior design project, the result of which has been unquestionably outstanding and very representative of Malasaña style.
There we can find apartments prepared to accommodate from a couple to groups of seven people.
Apartment Madera XI
But let’s focus on ‘Madera XI’, a two double bedroom apartment, with capacity for four people (or six, thanks to a sofa bed).
On the third floor of this Malasaña building – of beautiful facade and wonderful wooden staircase – is this apartment, which welcomes the guest with a console, crowned by a pair of mirrors.
In the living the space has been conveniently distributed to obtain three well-defined environments: the sitting area chaired by a sofa, the strategically located dining area and the quiet working corner, by the window. A cheerful color palette, with the yellow color at the head, confers this room light and comfort.
Behind is a modern and bright kitchen, perfectly equipped and doted of a practical breakfast bar.
A long corridor, with an original portrait at the bottom, leads to the bedrooms that rest – with their own bathrooms – in the quietest area of the property.
In the first place is the double bedroom, in which a pair of twin beds dressed in cheerful tones offers a perfect room for two people. In addition, it features two large fitted wardrobes and a work table that, in turn, functions as a nightstand.
At the bottom of the hallway, for more privacy, is the suite which boasts a queensize bed that rests over a beautiful headboard upholstered in warm tones.
Both bathrooms have been equipped with a shower and with practical and light materials to favor luminosity. The wall sconces deserve special mention, since they confer elegance while warm and intense light.
Undoubtedly, ‘Madera XI’ is a very interesting apartment for a demanding client, who likes to receive family and friends, or for a group of people that wish to share housing with maximum comfort and functionality in the best of the Center of Madrid … in the increasingly demanded neighborhood of Malasaña.
